Located just west of Verona, Wisconsin, our business opened its doors in 1992 as a manufacturer and repair shop for trailers. A few years later, we expanded our business to include hitch and towing options. Founder and owner, Dale Chestnut, started plowing snow at that time and incorporated snowplow repairs into the business. Soon followed the sales and installation of plows and spreaders. We now offer a wide variety of services including custom fabrication work and an extensive snow equipment and trailer parts department. Over the years our business has continued to grow and adapt. Fast quality service
Hands down one of best businesses I have worked with. Double D installed a hitch on my car this spring. They are not a little suburban put a hitch on your EV kinda place - I liked what the web reviews said about them and I was NOT disappointed. The hitch is super solid and and looks great on my Ioniq 5 EV. Drove 1000 miles with a hitch rack solid as a rock.
Here’s where they earn 10 stars though: a small cosmetic cut, in low bumper fascia near the hitch, was pointed out by them after the installation and they said without asking that they would fix it. They ordered the replacement part, painted it to match my car and installed it and it looks awesome/like new. They kept in great touch with me over the course of this and never left me hanging. While I could’ve been upset about the initial minor cosmetic damage to the plastic on the low bumper of the car, my experience was instead a business of integrity who followed through on their word and made everything right. You just can’t seem to buy that anymore. Cheers to Double D.

Stopped by begging them to sell me something but Bryce just grabbed a wrench and showed me how to fix my trailer jack myself. I’ll be back!

I took my RV trailer to Double D Services for them to check breaks, bearings and tires before a long trip out of state. They went over everything I was asking for and then some! Checked over electrical wiring, lights, hitch connection and even the spare tire. I strongly recommend this company!! Great service!
I’ve had my horse trailer at Double D Services several times, and they’ve always been incredibly nice and professional. They do quality work, communicate well, and I’ve always been happy with the results. Highly recommend!
